Snow has fallen and the world feels quiet. I can barely remember the sound of cars passing my house or the hum of activity in my town. Some days I think of the past eleven moths as brutal, challenging and exhausting. On my better days, I'm able to put a positive spin on things. I've made memories with my kids. My son Deacon was born healthy. Instead of joining me in the innumerable pickups, drop-offs, rounds of errands that comprise my mom-life, we were cozy and safe at home. Like so many other Mothers, the Pandemic has hit my career like a bomb. Three kids at home with zoom school and endless energy leave me with virtually no time for my chosen career. I miss my studio. I miss the hiss of my torch and seeing a piece come to life in my hands. For now, I sneak moments of time in my studio, but with constant interruptions, my pace is slow. Bear with me friends, someday we'll look back on this pandemic as the past...

MOVING INTO 2020
I am currently neck deep in applications for Summer and Fall Art shows around the Midwest. If you know of any events or shops that would be a good fit for Notions of Lovely , please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
